Truly, the most romantic island in the world, Bora Bora is a lagoon resembling a poet’s imagination, an artist’s palette of blues and greens. Love at first sight is what you will say and feel when one lands in this beautiful island. The castle like Mount Otemanu kisses the sky with perfect white sand beaches kissed by the pristine turquoise waters. It seems as if love is in the air. Romantics from the world have continued to transcend this island in search of their true love or make for their lost love.

A perfect honeymoon destination for the couples to get marooned with their loved ones. Take the stress out and unwind and celebrate on this majestic island. The French Polynesia is calling you for a romantic getaway. The white sandy beaches, the warm tropical breezes and romantic huts over water are waiting for you. The sun set is truly magical as the sun goes down with red rays falling on the sea water which looks like a red carpet.

Engage yourself in some of Tahiti’s unforgettable activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, shark diving, mountain trekking or staying in an over water bungalow. The lush waterfalls, underwater curves and coral reefs boasting of a wide variety of flora and fauna make this place ecstatic. Some of the things to do in Bora Bora is to enjoy the slow pace with which the life moves in an island. For a lazy lounger like me, this place is truly a must visit. Chill out, relax, unwind, go with the flow and appreciate life’s simple pleasure is the mantra to be in this island.

Don’t take time to do something but take time to do nothing at all. Spoil yourself by enjoying breakfast on your bed; treat yourself to world class massage to rejuvenate your body, mind and soul. Of the many things to do in Bora Bora is to take a ride of the entire island on cycle. Do not miss a trip to Matira beach where pristine sea water and scenic beauty will astound you with the nature’s marvel. Matira point is the tourism center of Bora Bora.

This island is world famous for its stunning top side beauty. Offering some of the world’s best dives, beginners can try swimming at giant Manta Rays, be shadowed underwater by torpedoing gray reef sharks at Muri Muri. One can also try his hand at feeding the lemon sharks by hand at Tapu Dive. Don’t forget to take the region’s famous black pearls and hand painted Pareos from the shops around. One of the things to do in Bora Bora is to roam around the island. You can choose from a variety of options like the public buses, hiring car, scooter or even cycle. Do not think of planning to come on Sundays as all the shops and restaurants where you could have enjoyed some relishing Italian and French cuisines will be found closed.

The best part about Bora Bora are the Tahiti pearl shop..I bought loose pearls from the main land and set them in my home..Gold is about five times pricier than that!
